Steve Tan

Steve Tan is the Executive Secretary of Young NTUC, the NTUC’s youth wing, where he works with union leaders and youth activists in engaging working youths below 35 years. He will be advising Young PAP through the International Relations Sub-committee.

Steve’s passion for youth-related issues is evident in his work: in his 10 years with the Labour Movement, Steve has been exposed to different avenues in helping youths. This can range from managing scholarships and education grants, to discussing with unions and management on labour-related issues.

As a student, he was actively involved in the local xinyao scene, having dabbled in music production and performing in pubs and other venues. He now plays football and basketball to keep fit, and loves watching musicals and stand-up comedy if he can find time.

Steve has been married since June 2010 to Sarah.
