Dr Janil Puthucheary

Advising our YP Political Discussion Sub-Committee is Dr. Janil Puthucheary, who was called to serve as a member of parliament in Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC in 2011. He is also an EXCO member on the PAP Community Foundation and was also a member of the Select Committee for Nominated Members of Parliament

Dr Puthucheary is the Head of Department (Paediatric Subspecialties) and a Senior Consultant in the Children’s Intensive Care Unit at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He is also the Medical Director for Faculty Development and an Assistant Professor at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School.

He is married, and has three sons.
