In the YP Community, young Singaporeans from all walks
of life can get together to:-
- Interact and exchange ideas, and network with fellow
young Singaporeans;
- Initiate and join activities that increase political
awareness, involvement and commitment.
- Be a Voice expressing the aspirations of young
Singaporeans.
- Be a Source of Caring and Sharing for the Community.
YP Net will function at 3 tiers,
- 1st tier: Intranet for party
activists
- 2rd tier: Extranet for Party
Members
- 3rd tier: For reaching out the public
The functions of YP Net is to enable activists, party
members and members of the public to:
YP21 has three major thrusts:
- Learn more about Young PAP and its role in the
PAP.
- Join the Young PAP and be a member of the YP Community.
- Join us as an YP Internet Pollsters to organise
and discuss National issues through our discussion forum, organised
on-line chats and on-line surveys.
- Participate in activities organised by YP Idea Incubator and YP
Community.
IDEA INCUBATORS provides an avenue
for Young Singaporeans to
discuss issues affecting the future development of the Nation.
We provide an open platform for Young Singaporeans
to interact with Politcal leaders, past and present, community leaders,
fellow YP members and young Singaporeans. This will facilitate mutual
understanding regarding core issues in nation building as well as
future social and economic challenges.
Our activities include establishment of
- Focus Groups
- Interest Groups
- e-Communities
- Forums and Dialogue sessions
- Internet Chats and e-Forums.

We will focus on issues that have broad appeal
and broad implications for the community at large. These include
Digital Divide, Structural Unemployment and the Greying Population.
Through an active exchange of ideas and
constructive contest of ideas, we believe new and better ideas
will eventually emerge. This will lead to greater sense of
vision and co-ownership thereby raising political awareness
in our young and strengthening their emotional attachment
to the nation.
